  • Accepts Transfers:
    Ready for a Change? Walsh makes transferring easy!
  • Technical/Vocation Credit Accepted:
    A student who has earned credits in a technical program at a regionally accredited two- or four-year college or university may transfer in as many as 15 hours of technical credits as elective credits. They will not fulfill core or major requirements.
  • Credit For Life Experience:
    We award credit for life experience through a formal assessment process that includes standard proficiency exams (CLEP/DANTES), individualized portfolios, military experience, corporate training, certificates, or licenses.

  • Official Transcripts:
    Unofficial college transcripts from all colleges attended will be accepted for admission review, and official transcripts are required for enrollment. Your final official high school transcript is required for enrollment.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    We accept transfer credits from regionally accredited institutions with a grade of C- or better. Some academic programs require grades of B or C or higher. If your grade isn't equivalent the course will be accepted as a transfer elective.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    All students must complete the last 27 semester hours prior to graduation at Walsh, with a minimum of 15 hours in the major field. Courses with designations of DV, SL, CIT, TH1, TH2, and TH3 WILL NOT transfer into Walsh.
